If you acquire insurance, subject to the terms of this Contract, we will waive our right to hold you financially responsible for all or part of the physical damage to the Vehicle, as noted on the Rental Record, including charges such as loss of use and administrative expenses tariffs.
All DS4 Rentals vehicles have coverage for Bodily Injury Protection Benefits, Property Damage Liability, and Bodily Injury Liability, as well as 24-hour roadside service, during the period of each car rental in the United States.

Deductible: Physical damage to cars up to $45,000, deductible of $1,000, and cars from $45,000 to $75,000, deductible of $3,000. This car insurance covers the main needs. In case of an accident or any eventuality with this rented car, for assistance, the driver can call 1-786-807-3541 and provide the VIN of a covered vehicle and obtain service. 1) Towing Assistance: When towing is necessary, the Covered Vehicle will be towed to the nearest workshop up to twenty-five (15) miles from the location of the breakdown. You will be responsible for the extra cost of towing the Disabled Covered Vehicle for more than twenty-five (15) miles from the location of the breakdown; 2) Flat Tire Assistance: The service consists of removing the flat tire from the Covered Vehicle and replacing it with the spare tire located with the Covered Vehicle. Towing Assistance will be provided if necessary; 3) Fuel, Oil, Fluid, and Water Delivery Service: An emergency supply of fuel, oil, fluid, and water will be provided if the Covered Vehicle is in immediate need. You must pay for the fuel or other fluid when it is delivered; 4) Lockout Assistance: If your keys are locked inside the Vehicle, assistance will be provided to enter the vehicle; 5) Battery Assistance: If battery failure occurs, a jump-start will be provided to start your Covered Vehicle. Towing assistance will be provided if necessary.
The rental of this vehicle constitutes a “bailment,” meaning that the use of the vehicle is for the sole benefit of the Renter. The Vehicle must be returned to a location specified by us on the date and time indicated in this Agreement and in the same condition received, except for normal wear and tear. Our determination of the Vehicle’s condition is subject to a final inspection for damages that may occur at our facilities after delivery, whether the vehicle is inspected by an employee or not, and whether such damages are immediately recognizable or hidden. To extend the rental, the Renter must contact our rental office before the due date listed in this Agreement. Vehicle assistance or replacement of parts or accessories during the rental period must have our prior approval. The Renter must check and maintain all fluid levels and return the Vehicle with at least the same amount of fuel as when it was rented. All cars from DS4 Rentals are delivered clean and in good condition, suggesting that they be returned in good condition as well. For the convenience of our guests, we have a wide network of car washes, and ALL OUR CARS can be washed for free. Note: Smoking is not allowed in our cars. In case of violation, or excessive dirt (grass, beach sand, dirt, rocks, animal hair, and others), we may charge an extra car cleaning fee of up to R$ 150.00.
What is the minimum age for car rental?
Some rules regarding the minimum age for renting a car (or a certain group of cars) and minimum driver’s license holding period may apply during the booking process. In general, the minimum age for renting a car is 21 years old, and the driver must have a valid driver’s license for at least one year. For some categories and models of cars (larger and/or more powerful cars), a minimum age of 25 years for rental may apply.
We do not require a credit card deposit, but it is necessary to present a photo of both sides of the card. At the time of booking, 50% of the payment is required, and the remaining 50% must be paid up to one week before vehicle pick-up.
Can I rent a car without a credit card? Yes. We do not require a security deposit on the credit card, ONLY a card for registration in our system for possible traffic fines, fuel checks, etc.
If you wish to cancel your reservation up to one week before your rental date, a 15% deduction of the contract value will be applied. These are administrative fees (taxes, banking transactions, and service fees).
If you wish to cancel your reservation within the same week (7 days) of your rental date, a 20% deduction of the contract value will be applied. These are administrative fees (taxes, banking transactions, and service fees). If you do not show up to pick up your vehicle (NOSHOW), there will be a penalty of 100% of the amount paid for reserving the vehicle and not showing up for its collection.
